Vickie Johnson

Career

A 27 year Commonwealth employee, Vickie Johnson has worked for six different agencies in a variety of capacities over the course of her career. Her duties have included data processing for the Central Management Information Center and the Department of Environmental Protection; reconciling state store audits for the Liquor Control Board; processing payroll and payments and compiling statistical reports for the Department of Welfare; and analyzing the health budget and portions of the welfare and education budgets for the Office of the budget. In June 1993 Vickie joined PENNVEST as a Project Specialist in Region III, serving 20 counties in the Southcentral/Southeastern part of the state. Her primary duty is to facilitate and coordinate the PENNVEST funding of water sewer and stormwater infrastructure projects with applicants and assist them in obtaining funding and implementing their projects. This is accomplished through training and outreach; application evaluation and review; funding recommendations; resolution of audit findings; payment and change order review; dissemination and exchange of information through meetings with various State, Federal and local officials, as well as legislators, representatives of private industry, and local citizenry.

Education

She is a 1986 graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts/Social Science.
